The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Here's a painting of a beautiful oasis. It's a tiki hut by a still pond. There's been a rain shower, and it looks like a sparkling paradise.
The colors of this scenic painting are brown, green, blue, and yellow. There is a light blue sky in the distance with puffy white clouds. The main attraction in this painting is the water, which is a glassy pool and some water droplets that are cascading off the corner of the thatched roof. What can not be seen is the setting inside the hut. Presumably it is open to the water and is a setup of comfortable chaise lounges or futons. Water to drink, and one might like to just observe nature and meditate a bit.
